EXAM RESULTS! (And plea for help w/ homework)

I GOT AN A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Curves ROCK! LOL I scored an 82 (14/17 -- his exams are all or nothing, you either get it right or you don't and they are HARD!) which became an A with the curve! :D

Okay, okay, so I came OFF cloud 9 when I got to this problem in my homework:



Click on it to enlarge if you can't see it on this page. I have figured out that Point B is (1000,100), but I have NO IDEA how to find the dang equation of the parabola! All the ones I've done have been in the form y=a(x-h)^2+k, where (h,k)=Vertex. This parabola doesn't HAVE a vertex (at least, not that I can tell!) and so I am MASSIVELY confused.

If anyone out there can shed some light on this you will be forever blessed by the homework gods and have my eternal gratitude for helping me retain my 100% homework score.

EDIT:

NEVER MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I figured it out!!!!! The vertex is always the lowest point or the highest point, so A(0,0) was the vertex!!!! WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cloud Nine again! :D
